RDF in Core code sprint: more details

May 5, 2009

The RDF code sprint is now less than a week away, and it's time to give you a quick update. For more information have a look at the original announcement as well as last week's blog post from Stephane Corlosquet.

We now have a few more participants, with Stefan Freudenberg, Frédéric G. Marand, Mark Birbeck and John Morahan joining us. There is still room for one more person, so if you are familiar with theming, the Fields API and/or writing tests we would be happy to have you with us.

For those unable to attend but who still want to participate or just check out the progress, I have set up a public bzr repository (just like we did for the Fields in Core code sprint). Remote contributors can get the code with the following command:

bzr branch bzr://vcs.happypixels.net/drupal-rdf/ my-drupal-rdf-working-copy

More detailed information about remote participation will be posted to the Semantic Web group. Also a big thank you to David Strauss for his guidance on repository best practices.

If you want to get in touch with the code sprint team, we will be in the #drupal-rdf channel on IRC. We will also do our best to keep the community updated on our progress during the sprint.

A big thank you to our sponsors and to everyone who already made a contribution using our chip-in widget. If you think that RDF support in Drupal 7 might be helpful to you in the future then consider making a small donation. These donations will be used to cover some of the costs of the code sprint.

Thank you!
